A payout is controlled by conditions beyond simply making a profit on the screen.
A payout rule may specify a waiting period, minimum amount, profit split, consistency condition, eligible account stage, identity check, or required buffer. The rule can apply differently to the first payout and later payouts.
Some firms reset the account balance or drawdown floor after a payout. Others lock trading while a request is reviewed. A payout method can also have network, processing, or payment-provider limits.
Read the payout page together with the risk rules. Ask what happens to open positions, the high-water mark, the loss limit, and the account after a payout request—not only how much percentage the trader keeps.
