In short

Separate the market infrastructure from the account you are actually trading in a prop-firm evaluation.

01

An on-chain perpetual market records or settles activity through blockchain infrastructure. That describes the market or settlement rail; it does not automatically describe the account a prop firm gives every trader.

02

A firm may show simulated evaluation orders using on-chain prices, or it may route some activity differently at a later stage. The exact model can vary by firm and product.

03

Before paying, look for plain answers to four questions: Is the evaluation simulated? What price feed and venue are used? When, if ever, does trading become live or on-chain? How is the reward calculated and paid?
